Marketing team of nationwide baby and child swim school shortlisted for award

The team of three experienced ex-agency marketeers, Ruth Nelson, Strategic Brand and Marketing Manager, Lauren Brown, Creative Lead and Oliver Hancock, Digital Marketing Manager, have continuously developed the brand and worked to increase national awareness in order to reach both potential customers and franchisees, whilst also supporting their existing franchise network by driving the brand forward nationally and supporting them in marketing their businesses locally.

Having previously won an award in 2019 for ‘Best Overall Marketing Campaign’ at the Franchise Marketing Awards for their ‘Perfect IntroDUCKtion to Swimming Campaign’, the team have continued to develop this message, recently entering the third phase with new TV ads.

Speaking of their status as finalists, Ruth Nelson commented: “We are a small but mighty marketing team who deliver a huge variety of work to the highest standard, effectively and on budget. We’re fortunate in that we get to market a really positive subject matter, bringing the joy of swimming to babies and children, but it’s a competitive market and we have to bring our expertise to the work we do and be bold in order to stand out”.

Ruth continued, “We each have valuable contacts across the industry, so coupled with our knowledge and experience, ensures that we retain relevance and remain outward looking, never insular. We put huge emphasis on self-improvement, attending industry events, networking, making time for continuous professional development and always being bold and innovative”.

The Prolific North Champions Awards will be held 18 May at Emirates Old Trafford, The Point.
