Razzamataz Awards Performing Arts Scholarship to Local Singer

Razzamataz has awarded a scholarship to a local Chester girl for more than 100 hours of free performing arts tuition. The scholarship came as part of a competition hosted by The Stage, the UK’s longest running performing arts newspaper, which sought out the UK’s most talented young people to win access to free tuition. Razzamataz is part of The Stage’s national network of partner schools and has been offering a scholarship through the publication since 2010. Scholarships give children from less advantaged background the chance to access performance art training. This year’s winner was nine-year-old Lois Donaway. Thanks to the scholarship, Lois will have the opportunity to attend the theatre school classes, improve her skills, and meet new friends with similar interests. Razzamataz Theatre School franchise was created to make performing arts more readily available to young people by offering current trends in areas of musical theatre, commercial pop and street dance.

Nationwide Cleaners Sponsor’s Local Teenager’s Expedition to South America

Nationwide Cleaners have given a local teenager the trip of a lifetime. In March of this year, the domestic cleaning franchise announced that it would be sponsoring Elise Jones’ adventure to Peru to serve underprivileged communities, participate in environmental projects, and advocate for wildlife conservation. Elise has arrived safely home from her four week trip and has shared highlights from her expedition, which included a five day hike to Peru’s famous historical site Machu Picchu. She helped build greenhouses, playgrounds, toilets, and more for the people of rural Peru, extending Nationwide Cleaners’ generosity beyond the borders. With Nationwide Cleaners’ support, Elise was able to grow and learn through this experience of a lifetime while also making an international impact on the communities she helped serve in South America.

Eddie Rockets Gives Local Family a Holiday Trip to Florida

Eddie Rockets recently ran a competition offering one family a chance to visit Florida in the holiday of a lifetime. The American diner-style restaurant franchise is known for its multi-award winning burgers, which were recently named the best burger in Ireland. The Dunphys from County Laois, Ireland, won the trip worth £4,500. Mum Siobhan, dad Fergus and their daughters Zoe and Emma were absolutely shocked to win the prize. This will be their first time visiting the United States, and they are hoping to be able to visit Disney World during their stay. Their trip is sure to be an American dream come true!
