Behind every successful franchise is a hardworking and ambitious franchisee. This week, we celebrate successful franchisees who have achieved significant goals and show no signs of slowing down. This week's Friday Franchising News focuses on franchisees achieving awards, generating significant turnover and making positive contributions to their local community.
Two Awards for Merry Maids Croydon
Merry Maids' Debbie Walker scooped two prestigious awards for her Croydon-based franchise this week. She is the proud recipient of the North Star Growth Award and the Dallen Peterson Franchisee of the Year Award. The second award is particularly significant since it is only awarded to one franchisee within the ServiceMaster network each year. Debbie's pursuit for excellence and professional management made her a very easy choice for the judges. Alan Lewin, Managing Director of ServiceMaster commented: "Merry Maids of Croydon constantly strives hard to offer great customer service and a community-friendly approach. Debbie is a prime example of sheer hard work and determination too."
Match Options Cambridge Achieves £1 Million Turnover
Congratulations are in order for Match Options' Marshal Konzvo, who steered his Cambridge franchise towards a cool £1 million turnover after just 13 months! Joining the Match Options team was a huge risk for Marshal back in 2017 as he decided to use all his savings to finance the franchise business. He is delighted that his risk paid off and is excited about his future with the Match Options brand. Marshal says: "Franchising is a system that is proved to work. So far things are going very well, even better than I expected. To achieve £1 million turnover after 13 months in business is amazing, and testament to all my hard work but also the Match Options brand."
New Addition to The Massage Company
Sunny Sachdev is the newest addition to The Massage Company team. He will be taking on their Midlands-based franchise and his management background was exactly what founders Elliot Walker and Charlie Thompson were looking for. Elliot says: "It is our intention to grow a nationwide network of franchisees and it is vital that we spend time doing our due diligence, to carefully interview and be selective in taking franchisees into the network. As we went through this process, Sunny’s business acumen shone through and we believe he will build a very strong business and we look forward in supporting him in this.”
5 Star Rating for Home Instead Senior Care
Well done to Home Instead Senior Care on yet another 5 star rating in Smith & Henderson’s annual Franchisee Satisfaction survey. This is the fifth time that the homecare franchisor has won this award and is a testament to the time and effort that they put into training their franchisees. 92% of their franchisees completed the survey this year and all of them were fully satisfied with the initial training and support that they received. In addition, 93% of the franchisees declared that their franchisor's products and services were better than the ones offered by leading competitors. Managing Director for Home Instead, Martin Jones, stated: “Our franchisees are the people best placed to give our brand its most persuasive testimonial as a business opportunity. We are delighted to have 5 Star Franchisee Satisfaction from Smith & Henderson for the 5th time."
