Beware! Halloween is right around the corner, and this week franchises have been scaring up some frighteningly good deals, tricks and treats to get you in the Halloween spirit. Read on, if you dare!

Papa John’s Gets Spooky This Halloween

Papa John’s is offering pizza lovers the ultimate Halloween experience this year with the introduction of its limited edition Spooky Sticks. The pizza franchise’s garlic cheese sticks have gotten a spooky makeover with a topping of Ilchester® Black Cheddar Total Eclipse™ cheese, colored with natural cocoa and carob for a dark black appearance, and a gooey drizzling of cheesy, malty flavour. These ghoulish treats will be available through the month of October until 4th November. And if the black cheese is too spooky for you, the pizza franchise is also offering new Toffee Apple Sticks: freshly prepared dough covered in toffee and apple sauce, baked, and then drizzled with more toffee sauce. Papa John’s is also offering 40% off when you spend £40 or more, a perfect deal for any Halloween party.

Shakeaway Dusts Off Its Halloween Menu

Shakeaway’s popular limited edition Halloween menu is back in stores through 31 October. The menu features six creepy, crawly and ghoulishly delicious milkshakes that the franchise recommends you try hot on a cool autumn day or night. The Cobweb Chloe shake combines Oreo cookies and Aero Mint Bubbles in a seriously chocolatey mix. The Eerie Ernie is back from the dead, made with double ‘good heads’ (creme eggs) and topped with whipped cream. The Freaky Fred mixes it up with Jelly Babies and Jelly Beans topped with Jelly Tots. The Ghoulish Gordon is filled with Reese’s Cups and extra peanut butter. The Scary Scarlett has toffee popcorn and butterscotch, topped with popping candy. And finally, the Haunted Hayley is made with 100% fat free frozen yogurt with strawberries and lime and topped with marshmallows.

Razzamataz Carlisle Hosts Its Annual Halloween Ball

Razzamataz Theatre Schools Carlisle is hosting its annual Halloween Ball on Friday, 26 October, and this year’s bash is set to be bigger and better than past years. The theatre school franchise’s Halloween Ball will include a buffet, live performances from all of the students, a surprise teachers performance, and entertainment from guest star and former Razzamataz Carlisle student Beth Francis. There will also be games, prizes, and spooky surprises lurking around every corner. All proceeds from the night will go toward the theatre’s Razzamataz Future Fund.

Trophy Pet Foods Provides Tricks for an Enjoyable Halloween with Pets

As time for celebrating Halloween approaches, Trophy Pet Foods wants to offer a few tricks for staying safe with your pets. With so many excitable children in costume running around, pets can get frightened or stressed with the trick-or-treating. The pet franchise advises keeping your dog on their lead while you are out walking them and to ask your dog to sit as trick-or-treaters pass. You may consider exercising your dog before the trick-or-treaters come out and keep your cats indoors for the night. Pumpkins with tea lights can be dangerous with pets around as they can easily be knocked over; opt instead for a safer battery operated and flame-free light. And while dressing up your pet can be adorable and fun, be sure their costume isn’t restricting their movement or preventing them from eating or drinking, and if they don’t like the outfit, remove it immediately. With these helpful tricks, you and your pets can have a safe and happy Halloween!
