Managing Director for Junk Hunters, Harsha Rathnayake, recently announced that NatWest Bank will provide up to 70% of funding needed to secure a franchise. In addition, the bank are prepared to lend up to £50,000, unsecured, to anyone with a Junk Hunters franchise in their sights. Junk Hunters estimate that a prospective franchisee will now need just £18,000 to get their business started. Once again, TaxAssist Accountants received outstanding results in the 2018 Five Star Franchisee Satisfaction Survey. Over 200 franchisees provided positive feedback about the franchisor in the following areas: training and support; franchise system; culture and relationships; leadership; value and rewards; and general satisfaction. Bright & Beautiful Franchisees Get Involved in Christmas Charity Campaign
Bright & Beautiful Derby franchisee Toni Hibbert and her team volunteered to pack shoeboxes with toys, clothes and supplies for the incredible Operation Christmas Child campaign. This annual campaign is a project of Samaritan's Purse, who deliver Christmas shoeboxes to over 146 million children in more than 100 countries. Her team dropped into a Derby depot on the 14th of November because they wanted to learn just how much a shoe box laden with gifts can mean to a child on Christmas day. Toni says: "We worked tirelessly to get the shoeboxes filled with gorgeous toys, school supplies, and much needed hygiene items for so many well-deserving children around the world. Once we got the hang of it, the process became rather addictive and we can’t wait to go back and contribute to the fantastic effort from the regular volunteers."
Radfield Home Care Franchisees Win Awards
Congratulations to two of Radfield Home Care's franchisees, Matthew Nutting and Shamsah Lalji, who took home much-deserved awards last weekend. Matthew received the Home Care Registered Manager Award at the Great British Care Awards for the Yorkshire and Humber region and Shamsah won the People's Choice Award at the Richmond Business Awards in London. Franchisor Dr. Hannah MacKechnie is delighted with the latest achievement for the Radfield team: "We have only been franchising for a little over two years, and a number of our franchise partners have already been recognised for their achievements by both the business and healthcare industries."
2019 is set to be another busy year for Radfield. Matthew will be attending the National Great British Care Awards in Birmingham on 8th March 2019, competing against eight other regional winners hoping to be named National Home Care Registered Manager of the Year.
