Outstanding Franchisors
Franchisor of the Year
McDonald’s Restaurants Ltd won the Gold Award for bfa Franchisor of the Year for demonstrating excellence in franchising. This fast food franchisor helps its 167 franchisees succeed by providing strong support and guidance to its owners. One of the ways the franchise does this is through planning meetings held throughout the year that engage franchisees and allowing them to work together with the franchisor, ultimately driving the success of the overall business.
Agency Express won the Silver Award for bfa Franchisor of the Year. This is the second time, in three years, that the franchise has been recognised as Franchisor of the Year. The board contractor franchise aims to maintain a balance for its franchisees that optimises every aspect of the business for ultimate efficiency. Agency Express works hard to create a well supported network that breeds happy and successful franchisees.
Award for Innovation
The Award for Innovation went to leading online tutoring service franchise Tutor Doctor. This award is presented to franchisors who invest in research and development of innovation techniques to help their franchisees succeed. Tutor Doctor’s online ‘Bramble’ software allows tutors and students to connect virtually, increasing tutor availability and revolutionising the franchise’s business model.
Award for Franchise Support
Revive! Auto Innovations (UK) Ltd was presented the Award for Franchise Support. This mobile automotive repair service franchise provides a framework for its franchisees that includes ongoing training, coaching and mentoring. This exceptional support and engagement between the home office and owners translates into optimum performance for the franchisees as they strive to build their best business.
