Barking Mad Has Its Own ‘Harry and Meghan’ Wedding

A Newfoundland dog named after Prince Harry has married his very own Meghan in a special doggy wedding ceremony at a Barking Mad franchise in Fife. The special wedding ceremony took place in Leslie, Fife with a special photo shoot organised by Elaine and John Warburton of Barking Mad Fife and Kinross. Canine Prince Harry was named after the royal groom-to-be in April 2017 and even received a reply from Kensington Palace acknowledging the occasion. Barking Mad Fife launched a search to find the furry ‘prince’ his own Meghan. They found the perfect companion in a springer spaniel named Meghan and brought the two together for a ‘furrytail wedding’ ceremony.

Burger King Launches Royal Wedding-Themed Snack

Fast food franchise Burger King has launched a royal wedding-themed snack in honour of Prince Harry and Meghan’s nupitals on Saturday. The limited-edition sandwich, called the American Royal, is a standard chicken royal sandwich with an American twist. It includes a piece of crispy fried chicken, topped with iceberg lettuce, drizzled with barbeque sauce, and topped off with two onion rings, which Burger King says is to signify the royal matrimony. The American Royal is available for £1.99 in stores across the U.K. through the royal wedding until 20 May. Burger King hopes this twist on a popular menu item will bring joy to guests on this special day, just as the royal couple enjoy their special day.

KFC Creates a Royal Wedding Bucket

When the fried chicken franchise KFC found out that Prince Harry had proposed to Meghan Markle over a roast chicken, the brand knew the perfect way to show their support – a lavish and regal commemorative chicken bucket. In celebration of the royal wedding on Saturday, the Windsor KFC restaurant on Dedworth Road is offering unique buckets officially known as royal wedding buckets. The bucket designs feature American and British flags alongside a classic regal golden crest adorned with chickens. Only 50 of these lavishly decorated commemorative buckets will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis at the KFC in Windsor on Saturday, 19 May.
