Q1. Why is your business a smart franchise investment for entrepreneurs?

At Platinum Property Partners we enable people to combine the dependable, proven asset class of property with the dependable, proven way of starting a business via franchising.

Our specific property investment model is high quality co-living, or HMO (House in Multiple Occupancy). We focus on this because it is a far more lucrative option than standard buy to let, and the reason our franchise exists is to help both experienced and novice investors alike to navigate their way through the complexities involved.

Platinum Property Partners is a high investment franchise, so capital is required (it's about buying property after all!) and we are the right option for those looking to minimise their initial and ongoing risks.

Q2. What do you look for in a potential franchisee?

Our most successful franchise partners are not the ones with the most money, or experience, or time. They are the ones that are enthusiastic and committed to running their own business to achieve their life goals.

Platinum Property Partners provides the systems, support, and process to de-risk & de-mystify high yielding property. We look for potential franchisees to bring energy, a willingness to learn and a clear plan for themselves and their family's financial future.

Q4. How do you support your franchisees to open their site?

We acknowledge that this is probably the biggest commitment our new joiners will ever make. Accordingly, we provide bespoke one to one support which is flexible enough to fit around existing plans and lifestyles to grow the portfolio at an appropriate rate.

All our new franchise partners are personally supported by existing members of our network who have been through the process and have their own portfolio already, which means they have the knowledge to help them fully understand all the options.

In addition, they are supported by our power team - a dedicated team of industry experts, who between them have decades of experience in the specialist area of HMO property.

Q5. How has the Covid-19 pandemic changed the way the franchise operates? What extra support and assistance are you offering your franchisees during this time?

Platinum Property Partners temporarily paused new joiners to the network in the first lockdown, as the housing market was closed. Instead, we focussed attention on supporting our existing network with guidance and advise which reflected the frequently changing legal position.

Our franchisees provide shared living for young professionals, and since COVID lockdowns have eased, the demand for this has significantly increased and continues to be an extraordinarily strong market.

Q6. What plans do you have for the franchise over the next few years in a post-Covid economy?

Our plans remain consistent in as far as we are looking to expand our network with steady growth.

The Platinum Property Partners model continues to refine as the portfolio grows (we now have over 1,300 houses in the network). This means the marginal gains for the newer houses are significant.

There is innovation to help with increasing property prices and refurbishment. In addition, we are developing professional expertise to assist those franchise partners with considerable capital growth to manage their wealth and inheritance positions.

The demand for the product remains strong so we are continually recruiting new partners across England!
