Located at the Intuition Tuition Centre, this new facility represents far more than just a classroom. Jack's Journey – 9 Months In and Thriving!

We love celebrating the incredible achievements of our Jam Coding franchisees, and today we're putting the spotlight on Jack, who, just nine months into his launch, is already making waves and demonstrating the true spirit of a Jam Coding franchisee.

Jack's dedication and hard work have yielded remarkable results in a short period. He's currently running 12 successful After School Clubs (ASCs), with an additional three booked in for September 2025, bringing him to his immediate goal of 15! This focused expansion speaks volumes about his strategic approach to growth. Beyond the school week, Jack has also successfully launched a Saturday morning club, further extending the reach of Jam Coding to eager young learners.

As a hands-on business owner, the operational side of Jack's franchise is also incredibly impressive. He's personally running a small number of his clubs, while keenly eyeing his current Code Coaches to identify future Head Coaches. His vision is clear: empower his team to take the lead, allowing him to strategically oversee and expand his operations even further.

"My team meetings are absolutely essential," Jack shared. "It's a chance for us all to train together on new courses, share best practices, and just connect. Keeping my team well-trained and motivated means we're always delivering the best possible experience for the kids. And honestly, the support from the wider Jam Coding franchise team has been a game-changer. It makes such a difference knowing you've got that dedicated support system behind you."

Jack prioritises his team's development by holding termly face-to-face group catch-ups with his staff, where they all train together on new courses. This commitment to ongoing professional development is crucial for maintaining high standards and fostering a strong, knowledgeable team.

A testament to the quality of Jam Coding's programs, some of the schools Jack is partnered with are academies that have proactively approached him to run extended 2-hour ASCs. This speaks volumes about the value and impact Jam Coding is having on children's learning and development within these institutions.

Looking ahead to the holidays, Jack is also running a private Summer club offering full-day sessions for three weeks. This initiative provides invaluable coding experiences for children during the Summer Holidays and showcases Jack's ability to diversify his offerings.

Jack's entrepreneurial spirit extends to exploring every avenue for growth. He's applied to the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) program in three different Local Authorities, and they have all expressed how much they loved what Jam Coding offers. Jack is firmly on all LA mailing lists and HAF communications in order that he can access funding to deliver fully funded holiday clubs in the future.

Beyond the traditional school channels, Jack has brilliantly engaged with the community by participating in Christmas and Summer school fairs. This is giving Jack the opportunity to set-up engaging stalls with banners, flyers, club information, laptops running different activities, and even robots! This hands-on approach has allowed him to build fantastic relationships with parents, proving to be an exceptionally effective strategy for connecting with the local community. We think this is a truly brilliant idea!

Furthermore, Jack is in promising talks with Scout groups and Homeschooling groups, exploring new avenues to bring coding education to even more children.
