The Next Evolution of Jam Coding Has Arrived!
At Jam Coding, we’ve spent more than a decade helping children build confidence, creativity, and independence through digital education. But this year marks a major milestone in our journey, and an exciting new opportunity for those looking to join us.
In January 2026, we’ll be opening our first-ever Jam Coding Computing Lab in Cheadle, Greater Manchester. Located at the Intuition Tuition Centre, this new facility represents far more than just a classroom. It’s the beginning of a model that will allow Jam Coding franchise owners across the UK to bring even greater value to their communities and unlock new growth potential in their businesses.
Why Computing Labs Are a Game Changer for Jam Coding Franchise Owners
For years, Jam Coding has been delivering high-impact digital skills workshops and computing lessons inside primary schools nationwide. Our in-school programmes remain a core part of what we do, but Computing Labs take this one step further.
A Jam Coding Computing Lab gives franchise owners the chance to:
- Build a standalone, high-visibility centre in their community - Labs give families a direct place to enrol their children into a structured, curriculum-aligned programme. No school partnerships required!
- Offer measurable weekly sessions - Parents can track progress, see their child’s confidence grow, and stay engaged long-term, improving retention and recurring revenue.
- Expand beyond school timetables – After school, evening, weekend and holiday sessions allow flexible scheduling and multiple income streams.
- Meet growing parental demand - As digital literacy becomes essential for future success, parents are actively seeking trusted providers outside school hours, and Jam Coding franchise owners are perfectly placed to serve that need.
68% of children who learn through the Jam Coding curriculum achieve higher than expected outcomes compared to their peers, making Computing Labs not just valuable, but genuinely life changing for young people.
For franchise owners, this means the opportunity to shape children’s futures while building a strong, sustainable business build on real educational outcomes.
Spotlight: The Stockport Franchise Owner Leading the Way
The first Lab will be launched by Su Watty, Area Director for Jam Coding Stockport, who has already built an impressive franchise in her region.
“It’s an absolute honour to be leading Jam Coding’s very first Computing Lab here in Cheadle,” Su shared.
“Every child deserves the chance to unlock their potential through digital skills, and this Lab will be a place where they can grow in confidence, creativity, and ambition.”
Su’s success story is a powerful example of what’s possible as a Jam Coding franchise owner:
- She has grown a thriving franchise in Stockport
- Built strong relationships with local schools and parents
- Established herself as a trusted leader in digital education
- And now, she’s breaking new ground with Jam Coding’s very first Computing Lab
The Cheadle Computing Lab is just the beginning. More Labs will be opening across the UK throughout 2026, creating additional opportunities for current and future franchise owners to expand their impact and their income.

Jam Coding’s Revolutionary Coding & Computing Education Hits Warrington
Two local entrepreneurs have joined forces with a leading national coding and computing education company to bring invaluable digital workshops to primary schools across Warrington.
Established in 2014, Jam Coding has been dedicated to delivering inspirational computing workshops, igniting young minds on a transformative digital education journey.
Now standing as one of the largest private computing providers in the UK, Jam Coding boasts a network of over 200 specially trained Code Coaches spanning from Aberdeen to Dover, with Warrington being the newest addition.
Rozalyn Orme, Area Director for Jam Coding Warrington, shared, “We embraced the Jam Coding opportunity because it offers a unique curriculum-based coding provision. Children stand to gain not just educationally, but in a fun and engaging environment not found elsewhere.”
Andrew Beech, Co-Director of Jam Coding Warrington, added, “Our journey began from a simple desire to fill the void of coding provision in the North West, particularly for our own children.
We’re thrilled about our upcoming initiatives in the region and have already begun accepting bookings. The enthusiastic response from teachers reaffirms the value of our mission, and we look forward to collaborating with schools and the wider community.”
Reflecting on the pressing need for digital literacy, Roger Grogan, who founded Jam Coding a decade ago, remarked, “Recent reports highlight a looming digital skills shortage crisis in the UK, compounded by a 40% drop in young people pursuing IT subjects since 2015.
This underscores the urgency for services like ours, and yet it is a need we have recognised for years. Our mission is clear: to equip children with essential digital skills for life.”
Jam Coding not only delivers after-school clubs and one-off workshops in schools to enhance their computing provision but also prioritises the safety of young learners by offering Digital Safety and Citizenship sessions from as early as four years old.
