The Hologram Zoo Business Model

This is not an established business with an established premises. Instead, we sell the complete package of the Hologram Zoo systems consisting of hologram animal enclosures, hologram tunnels and other experiences.

These devices can be set up in a permanent location or moved from place to place as a portable exhibition.

Customers will get to experience the feeling of having visited another country or be transported to a different environment while seeing a range of interesting shows.

The holograms are advanced projections of laser light. They look and act alive, but you can put your hand straight through them. This experience is completely unique and nothing like this has been seen or done in entertainment before.

Trial Example

Hologram Zoo was trialled at the largest museum in Australia (The Australian Museum in Sydney) and received 25,000 visitors in 42 days.

Guests paid around $23 (AUD) per person to see life sized hologram dinosaurs. One in every 200 people in Sydney came to see the show and made over half a million dollars in 42 days.

This technology has won a lot of awards for being far more advanced than what has existed before.

Investor Information

You can purchase the equipment for $400,000 USD plus $50,000 USD paid quarterly for content the license. All entertainment equipment is included, the 2 main things you need to provide is the venue and staff.

Alternatively, you can choose the Lease to Own model by paying $170,000 USD + $ set per ticket you sell until an additional $430,000 USD is paid off on top of the content license fee.

We supply you with regular content (multiple shows already exists and ready including shows that are based on countries, animals, dinosaurs, and even seasonal content like Christmas).
A single hologram set of equipment supports 80 to 100 customers per hour.

It's 23m x 11m and is 3.2 m high (71 by 35 feet, 10 foot high) but will need additional space. A minimum space of 350sqm is required for a standard Hologram Zoo set up or 550sqm if adding the Hologram Restaurant.

This business product is new and was only released for purchase in October 2023. Since then, we have sold over a dozen Hologram Zoos globally.

There are no competitors because the technology is patented, large scale hologram equipment has previously been too expensive to be used for entertainment purposes and everything is produced by us.

Requirements

In doing your calculations you should consider that there are roughly 175 Non-school days in most countries and 190 school days. Non-school days for entertainment are generally 10 times more profitable.

The centre is mostly automated and can run with just two staff members keeping overheads low.

We have created multiple hologram shows already with durations around 30-45 minutes for the full experience, these are: Africa, Asia, Australia, Dinosaurs, North Pole / Christmas. Many more to come in the future including licensed characters and experiences.

Installation

We send a team of install technicians to the site and complete the installation and training (optional) at an additional cost. Install costs need to be considered on top of the Hologram Zoo purchase.

Shipping

We ship the Hologram Zoo to your location and provide DAP services using sea freight as the default option. Shipping costs need to be considered on top of the Hologram Zoo purchase

Production Information

The manufacturer is in Australia, with offices / distributors in US, India, Oman, Japan and China, with European offices opening soon.

You can see the technology by traveling to Brisbane, Australia where Axiom Holographics will personally show you through the systems and hold meetings. Showrooms are planned in other regions early 2025.

Marketing

We will provide some basic marketing materials like photos, videos, fonts, etc along with recommendations however it falls to the owner to cover their own advertising costs.

Website & Ticketing

We can suggest and recommend companies that we’ve used that provide software for your website and ticketing systems and provide instructions on how to set them up to match what has worked for us.

Venue for lease or purchase

You will need to find somewhere with a minimum space of 350sqm / 3800 sqft and a minimum ceiling height of 3.2m. We recommend a venue close to public transport, fitted with amenities (not a requirement but recommended) and includes air-conditioning and WIFI. If you wish to do birthday parties, eating areas, groups and events we recommend a space of 550sqm / 5920sqft or above.

We will assist and work with you to create concept plans for the installation space using accurate architectural plans.

Training & Support

We provide our owners with ongoing training and support, this includes:

• For five years you will be entitled to up to 20 hours of phone or web support per year
• As part of the original price we will leave you with a spare unit of each type of computer as well as a spare of each type of projector. We will train you in how to swap them over if a problem occurs.
• We will have a meeting with you each quarter to show successful techniques that others are using in advertising. We will also speak to you about new shows that are in development and look after you in whatever reasonable ways we can.
