The Background

Fully Irish owned and established in 2006 by Mike Kearney and James Sexton, the Kids Party Club is currently awarding franchises across Ireland. The shows are professionally scripted and pre-recorded in our own studios so that almost anyone can successfully operate the Puppet Show single handed, even if you have no performing or entertaining skills.

The franchise business is operated from your own home and the package includes an Exclusive Territory with a turn-key package including the full show equipment, training and support, mentoring, operations manuals, technical back-up, on-line booking enquiry, LoCall number, central web-site, a customer database and a start-up pack with all sales and promotional materials you need to get started.

The Shows

1.  Parties: A Puppet Show and ‘Puppet-led’ Kiddies Disco that offers a fun, quality and professional experience. It is aimed at 4 to 8 year old children at almost every party occasion including birthdays, communions, christenings, weddings, family celebrations, montessori’s, summer camps etc. Complete with soft, large scale puppets that are full of character, professional lighting and sound, the party shows last for over 1 hour and we give out stickers, washable transfers and a gift for the party child!

2. Schools: Educational Puppet Shows for Schools aimed at national school pupils up to fourth class and are based on the Department of Education Social, Personal and Health Education (SPHE) curriculum aims, the current shows are on the important subjects of  ‘Bullying’ and ‘Healthy Eating’ (with more in development) and the show lasts for about 40 minutes (no disco). The show communicates the subject’s sensitive and key messages to the children and they have some fun at the same time!

The Market and Opportunities

So what is the market? It’s growing and largely under-serviced. Firstly, there are about 300,000 children between 4 to 8 years old in Ireland - that’s a lot of parties! Secondly, there are about 3,300 primary schools which represent a large and well defined market for educational shows on topics such as Bullying, Healthy Eating and Cultural Issues.

Finally, there are numerous other party opportunities including weddings (entertain the kids during those riveting speeches!), corporate events, community activities & festivals and seasonal events & parties such as Christmas and Halloween – quite simply Kids Love Puppets….always have and always will!
