THE TEAM BEHIND FUNKY MONKEYS
Husband and wife team Nick & Zoe Hearn gave up successful careers to create their own business success. With Nick’s experience working for a major company in I.T., and Zoe enjoying success in the marketing sector, they spotted an opportunity to become a premium player in the children’s soft play market.
In order to get the concept just right, they undertook extensive research in the UK, Europe and Dubai. They found a unique combination of thrilling play structures and the parent-friendly 'Healthy Eating' cafe were the right combination to bring true distinctiveness to the young family sector. The concept is vibrant, exciting - and highly attractive from a commercial perspective!parent and child having fun
Aware of the role played by the British Franchise Association in promoting viable and ethical franchises through their accreditation procedure, Nick and Zoe consulted with bfa affiliated professional advisers to optimise their franchise development, working towards their accreditation and being rewarded with Provisional Membership to the bfa.

We have 5 centres open, 20 territories sold and a further 7 centres planned to open in 2008. A Master Franchisee has been appointed for Ireland and we are actively seeking Master Franchisees worldwide.
We are working in partnership with Wyevale graden centres and opened our first centre with Bicester Wyevale in October 2007. We are now set to open up to 60 further centres within Wyevale garden centres across the UK within the next 5 years.
