Own a rewarding and profitable management franchise within the rapidly growing social care sector. With a SureCare franchise, you will be joining a leading provider of homecare with a proven track record.
SureCare is an award winning care franchise with over 30 years' industry experience. We offer prospective franchisees the opportunity to manage and run their very own multi-revenue stream care business with the brand, support structure, training and business tools that we provide.
When you own a SureCare franchise, you are in business for yourself, but never by yourself. The quality of care we deliver to our customers is matched only by the quality of support and guidance we provide to all of our franchise owners.
Established in 1994, SureCare has grown to become one the UK's most trusted and leading care service providers. We provide a range of outstanding support to families, with services including personal care, companionship and home support to elderly individuals, as well as to adults and children living with disabilities. We provide an invaluable service which allows people to remain at home in their family surroundings, enjoying a comfortable and enhanced quality of life, as opposed to moving into a specialist care setting or retirement home.
What really makes SureCare unique is the huge variety of services we make available to families, including; companionship care, home help for adults and children, personal care, domestic babysitting services, as well as the ability to deliver more specialised care services such as children’s mobile crèche provision for domestic and commercial clients, respite care, hospice care and end of life care to name just a few.
The Market
Our society is witnessing a period of demographic change as our ageing population is increasingly rapidly. Care services in the home are growing in demand, so much that the current UK home care market value stands at a staggering £6bn, with two thirds of this being spent on care for the over 65s.
At SureCare, we offer a wise investment into a growing market. We offer our franchisees the opportunity to create their own successful businesses in one of the fastest growing sectors in the UK, offering both financial rewards and the knowledge that you are providing an invaluable service to your local community.
One of the most compelling reasons to invest in a SureCare franchise is the multiple revenue streams that our franchisees can benefit from, due to the comprehensive package of care and support services offered by the company. From personal care to help with household chores, SureCare operators can deliver a wide range of services to meet the needs of any individual.
Who We Look For
You don't necessarily need to have any previous care experience to run a profitable SureCare franchise. As a management franchise, the ideal candidates will be:
Hard working
Have excellent people skills
And possess the skills and capabilities to manage and lead others.
In addition to this, we also look for individuals who are compassionate and committed to making a positive difference in the lives of others, and within the wider community.
Many of SureCare’s franchisees over the years have come from different backgrounds and careers, but all of them share the same passions and objectives – to build a successful business and to provide a meaningful service that helps to enrich the lives of clients under their care.

Franchising with SureCare
Training and Support
We need our franchisees to have the knowledge and confidence to be able to deliver excellent customer service from day one.
That’s why all of our franchisees must complete our week-long intensive induction course as part of the overall onboarding process, prior to commencement of trading. During the induction, you’ll meet with key figures in our National Operations team at our Head Office in Chester, Cheshire.
In addition to the initial induction, we offer ongoing training, mentoring, and fantastic levels of support in key areas of:
Business development
Finances
Operations
Recruitment
Marketing
As care is a regulated industry, you’ll also be required to undergo registration with the national regulatory body and keep on top of compliance with the relevant policies, procedures and best practices. This is where our expertise in care operations can support and guide you towards success.
You will be also able to take advantage of the SureCare central marketing support – including branded marketing literature, merchandise, website and online resources, PR, business stationery and more – from the beginning, which are often beyond the reach of a typical start-up business.
Investment
There is an initial investment required to start a sustainable SureCare franchise. The amount will vary to some degree, depending on the size and location of your chosen franchise territory area, as well as the ownership of the office premises you operate from.
Our franchise fee is £39,500 (ex. VAT). However, the total investment amount required typically ranges between £100,000 - £130,000. This amount includes the franchise fee, as well as the working capital you’ll need to keep your business running in the early months.
Our Franchise Recruitment Manager will discuss funding with you in more detail, and once we have jointly established the true capital requirement, we can then discuss how this capital is raised and deployed.
Whatever that amount may be, you will be expected to contribute 30% of that amount as direct cash from your own resources. Over the years, SureCare has established strong relationships with several High Street banks, who can support you with a business loan for the remainder of the total investment amount.
The Numbers
Our franchise offices are extremely successful and have enjoyed sustained growth. A number of franchise owners have reported turnover levels in excess of 1,000,000 per annum.
We aim for new franchisees to break even within 12 months of operation, although this can vary based on different factors like a franchise’s individual performance and following our guidance closely. We would expect an established office to achieve net profits (before franchise owner earnings and franchise costs) of 15-20%.

Former Chancellor officially opens SureCare Guildford & Woking at launch event
October 31, 2024
SureCare Guildford & Woking held our official launch event last week, with Former Chancellor Jeremy Hunt in attendance as our guest of honour
The Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt, MP for Godalming and Ash, joined us at Godalming United Church on Friday 18th October, along with over 60 guests, including stakeholders from Surrey County Council, local hospitals, charities, SureCare staff and a number of the clients we look after.
During the launch event, we heard key speeches from Mr Hunt, as well as from one of our care workers about why she loves her job, and the daughter of a mum who receives our care services.
Having recently secured our registration with the Care Quality Commission, SureCare Guildford & Woking now offers a full range of regulated care and non-regulated support services to people in the local community. Alongside Domiciliary Care, our range of services includes Live-in Care, Respite Care, Dementia Care and Complex Care.
Managing Director of SureCare Guildford & Woking, Shahid Younis, is hoping to grow our team to 50 people over the next two years to meet the needs of people in Guildford, Woking, Aldershot, Godalming, Cranleigh and Farnham.
Shahid, who has a background in the tech industry, has been a councillor for over 15 years and is a trustee of two charities. He was inspired to launch a home care business because he is passionate about providing people with the best possible care so they can continue to live in their own homes. He has also pledged to donate 2.5% of the business’ annual profits to supporting charitable causes, reinforcing his mission to make a positive impact both within and beyond the care SureCare Guildford & Woking provides.
Shahid said: “At SureCare, we are dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality adult care that allows individuals to live with dignity, respect and independence in the comfort of their own homes. Our services are person-centered and designed to meet the diverse needs of the community.
“Most of my family are medics so you could say that caring is in my blood. I want to add value to people’s lives and give something back to the community.
“I believe what we’re doing is different. We offer flexible packages based on a person’s needs and we adapt these to fit the person we’re looking after. I like to take our service users out for a meal, to hear about their lives, to listen to their stories, and to give them the opportunity to put a face to the person running the company.
“I’m really proud of my team and I value them all highly, especially because it’s hard work, lonely and challenging to be a care worker. I want them all to feel valued and supported and I’m really pleased that morale is so high.”
Jeremy Hunt said: “Thanks to Shahid Younis and his team for inviting me to the launch of SureCare Guildford & Woking which offers domiciliary, respite and live in care.
“We know that in-home care and support can help prevent prolonged hospital stays which eases pressure on the NHS but it is also the type of care most of us would prefer.
“It was wonderful to hear the stories of one client who is thriving now she has the right support at home as well as a fantastic care worker whose pride in her work shone through.”
During the launch, guests heard from senior care worker Jessica, who was born deaf and began working in the care sector shortly before having a life-changing cochlear implant ten years ago.
She said: “When I first went in to care work, I knew I wanted to do something that involved looking after people, but I wasn’t sure If I was able to do this, because of my deafness. I thought this would limit my chances as a care worker and be a hindrance for the clients.
“In fact, I found this to be the opposite of my expectations. I had the advantage of understanding what it is like to have a limitation, and clients felt more at ease knowing someone understood their own constraints.
“I love that I can help clients feel comfortable and well looked after in the care I give. It is very much an ethos in SureCare’s values in ensuring clients are safe in their own homes.”
The audience also heard from Debbie, whose 95-year-old mum receives help from SureCare.
Debbie said: “SureCare have been wonderful and the team who look after my mum are, in her own words, ‘worth their weight in gold’. They are more than carer workers; they are friends and their company is just as important as the tasks they do.
“They care for the whole family and are always there for us too. I can’t put a value on the support they have given me, navigating the unknown and calming my anxiety.
“The improvement that care and proper nutrition has made to my mum is incredible. Friends, family and health professionals are all amazed at her progress.”

SureCare Testimonials
The reason I chose a home care franchise was for the support and to be known with a recognised brand, which we can then grow and develop in our own area
Karun Heer (North Leeds & Harrogate)
We chose a franchise because it gives support on time-consuming issues such as policy, procedures and legislation, so it left us free to provide care. When we started out eight years ago, we were the sole carers, as well as looking after the marketing the business. Today we have 60 staff providing care for more than 100 children and older people.
Caron Oldreive (Doncaster)
I started off as a carer and then worked as a manager in the office of a care franchise, so I chose a franchise when I decided to start my own business. Care is heavily regulated and when I started the regulations were in flux, so I wanted the support of a franchisor. I’ve now got about 100 service users and have built up a team of 40 staff. I need much less franchisor support now, but it’s always there if needed and I talk regularly with other franchisees. We swap tips, advice and ideas so the franchise comes with a useful network.
