Jackie and Mark Gillan from Radfield Home Care in Wakefield & Huddersfield were named as Specialist Care Expertise Category winners at the recent 2025 Home Care Awards. Held every year to celebrate the best in local care provision, this highly competitive category is only awarded to those who really excel at the service they provide and contribute to raising the bar for the standard of care everywhere.
Incredibly, this was just the first of their highly prestigious accolades this year. At the Great British Care Awards, a key member of their team, Claire Walker was named National Care Co-ordinator of the Year! A truly stunning result, one which merited special mention from the judges:

Elite Franchise Top 100 (EF100) - Radfield ranked #39 in top 100 UK franchise opportunities
The Elite Franchise Top 100 rankings were announced at the end of 2024, but the official awards ceremony was last week. It’s really not possible to overstate just what a huge deal this is. By being named #39 out of the 100 best franchises in the UK, they are showing that the franchise stands head and shoulders above the 1000+ franchise opportunities currently available.
Not only that, but this was the 8th consecutive year they had been included in this very exclusive list, and they were the fifth-highest home care provider overall.
