We are excited to reveal that brothers Richard and Dan Bowyer, the dedicated owners and operators of Dyno-Rod East Anglia & North Essex, have been nominated for Best in Class Multi-Unit Single Brand award at the highly-regarded BFA HSBC UK British Franchise Awards 2024.
This accolade celebrates franchisees who have successfully expanded into multi-territory operations within the same brand, highlighting exceptional growth and commitment.
Richard and Dan’s Dyno-Rod business is one of three finalists in this highly competitive category, alongside Monkey Puzzle Day Nurseries and ServiceMaster Clean.
A special way to mark the business’ 50th anniversary
This recognition is particularly special as it coincides with the 50th anniversary of their family-run business. Dyno-Rod East Anglia & North Essex was originally established by Richard and Dan’s parents in 1974, making it one of the oldest and most respected franchises in the UK.
Over the past five decades, the business has grown significantly, now employing almost 90 people across six plumbing and drainage territories. Despite this expansion, it has remained a family-owned and operated business with an unwavering focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
Perfectly illustrating their dedication to quality and professionalism, the business has proudly held the Royal Warrant since 2008. This sees the franchise looking after the drainage requirements of the Sandringham Estate royal residence.
In addition to their nomination at the BFA HSBC UK British Franchise Awards, the Bowyer brothers have been recipients of multiple internal accolades recently, including back-to-back Dyno-Rod Franchise of the Year awards in 2022 and 2023. They have also been recognised for their achievements in growth and health and safety.
With such a strong track record, they are hopeful of adding the BFA award to their list of accolades when the winners are announced on 7 November 2024.
