That sounds like a massive leap of faith for most people. For Rob Dancy, it wasn’t a leap into the unknown, however. It was a calculated decision, built on an insider’s view of exactly what the Radfield Home Care franchise is all about.

Rob spent years as the franchise consultant for Radfield Home Care; working alongside franchise partners across the country. He didn't just understand the business model - he saw exactly what it actually did for people. He watched ordinary individuals build extraordinary businesses, and he saw the difference they made in their communities.

We've been following Rob's progress ever since, because his story shows just how much momentum you can build once you make the decision to move forward.

He completed training in September 2024. He opened Radfield Home Care Tarporley & Mid Cheshire on 3rd November with his Registered Care Manager, Zoe. They'd welcomed their first two companionship clients and begun the CQC registration process within weeks.

“Making the switch from advising to doing has been a big move for me but I remain excited about the journey ahead and I’m so proud to be part of the leading home care brand that is Radfield Home Care (UK). As their partner, there’s something uniquely motivating about this time of year. We’re past the New Year 'rush' and into the steady rhythm of planning for a successful 2026.”

Now, Rob’s hit another major milestone:

His brand-new adult day care centre welcomed its first members.

Five members joined that first session at Alpraham Village Hall, enjoying creative activities, gentle exercise, games, and a hot lunch together. Exactly the kind of meaningful, connected experience that sits at the heart of everything Radfield does.

“We want the Day Care Centre to be a place people look forward to visiting each week,” Rob said. “Having our trained Care Professionals onsite means everyone can feel safe, supported, and valued while enjoying their day. “The Radfield Home Care 'Be There' purpose is what this is all about, so it was great to really, actually 'Be There' for the local community and see all our planning come to success and reality. Reggie, the bear that cares even came down to say hello. More on his news coming soon...”

Rob’s next big step will be providing regulated personal care to clients in his community, but that will need to wait until his CQC registration is confirmed – however, that doesn’t mean he needs to wait to start growing his business.

Through unregulated companionship care and adult day care services, Rob is not only generating income, but also building critical relationships in his local community, and showing people what Radfield Home Care can do. He won't be starting from scratch when his CQC registration comes through - he'll already have momentum, credibility, and clients who know exactly who he is.
