Walfinch, a network of leaders
Imagine being part of the home care revolution, not designed to ‘keep people at home’, but focused on streamlining clients’ daily lives and helping them to Thrive in (and beyond) their homes.
Let’s talk cash: the financial information
The minimum investment with a Walfinch franchise is £110,000 - 120,000, with a franchise fee £41,000 + VAT, along with an ongoing management support fee of 5%.
These figures underline that, while there is a serious investment, you’re backed by a proven model and recognised brand, with strong relationships with the banks. The opportunity is substantial, and the potential for return is transformative.
Walfinch was designed by a former home care franchisee
Walfinch is rooted in forward-thinking leadership, with our CEO, Amrit Dhaliwal having been a former home care franchisee. Our model combines entrepreneurial energy with care expertise, nationally supporting franchisees to set up their own Walfinch home care businesses. Could your individual expertise enrich our vibrant network of entrepreneurs? We want to hear your vision. When you join Walfinch, you’re signing up to a brand which values ambition, innovation, and seizing opportunities within a market that’s primed for growth.

How does the Walfinch franchise business model work?
The model is smart, clear and built to work in today’s digital age while staying human centred. At its core: you operate a home-care business under the Walfinch brand, delivering services in your exclusive territory. Our system ensures you have the technology, processes and branding to deliver standout service.
Key components:
- Exclusive territory license: You’re supported to establish a dominant local presence, with an expertly researched territory based on the population of potential clients.
- Technology-enabled operations: From rostering and care-monitoring to client management and compliance., the systems handle the heavy lifting so you can focus on growth and relationship-building.
- Marketing and referral strategy: You’ll be trained on how to build your network of referral providers, community relationships and local leads.
- Service diversity: You’ll offer a full range of care, from hourly/daily visits to live-in support, from simple companionship to complex care for conditions like dementia, stroke recovery, MS. That broad menu means you’re not locked into one niche, and you can scale your operations.
- Scale opportunity: While you might start as a single-unit franchisee, the model gives you potential to scale to multi-unit or multi-territory.
- Ongoing business development: Support doesn’t end at launch; you’ll be coached, updated, networked and encouraged to maximise the value of your business via best practices, operational innovation and strategic growth.
Stop surviving, start Thriving
By joining the Walfinch network you gain access to a proven platform: a recognised brand, a complete operating system, and a market position built for the future - with your own, exclusive territory. New Walfinch Home Care Service Launches in Newcastle
Idris Nasar, who is based in North Shields, has become the franchisee and managing director for Walfinch’s Newcastle East branch and has this now opened his doors for business.
Research from the Kings Fund has shown that the number of new requests for adult social care support exceeded 1.9 million in 2020/2021, yet the number of places in nursing and care home has consistently fallen in recent years1. As such, demand for home care services continues to grow as people look to receive support in the comfort of their own homes.
Confirms Idris Nasar: “I’m very excited to introduce a brand-new home care service to the people of North Shields, Whitley Bay, Tynemouth, Murton and the surrounding areas to help meet the demand for home-based care services. Walfinch is building a fantastic reputation across the country for delivering a consistent, flexible and quality service to adults, from as little as one hour per week; I’m therefore excited to build a great care team here and to play a valuable part in supporting the communities along the Newcastle coastline areas with the help that they need.”
Having received its CQC registration, Idris has appointed Jade Smith as the Registered Manager, and is now in the process of building its team of carers who will deliver frontline support to people in their own homes.
Explains Idris: “I’ve always had an interest in the healthcare industry, with a father who is still a serving doctor even though he is 80 years of age, and a mother who was a nurse, who is now receiving care herself. I was very impressed with Walfinch and I am excited to lead the Newcastle East franchise; Walfinch’s values resonate with me and having met CEO Amrit Dhaliwal, his knowledge and passion of the home care and franchising sectors is inspiring. With tried and tested systems, processes and compliance support, I look forward to helping as many people with their care needs across the North East as possible.”
Walfinch Newcastle East aims to help clients maintain independence and provide comfort and peace of mind for the client and their family. From one-hour a week to 24-hour live-in care, services include elderly care, convalescent care, support with errands or appointments, companionship and dementia care.
Amrit Dhaliwal, CEO of Walfinch said: “I would like to extend a very warm welcome to Idris and look forward to supporting him as he establishes and grows his business around the coastal towns of Newcastle. As a franchisee, Idris has access to our proven business model, launch plan, optimised operating procedures, systems and quality standards, ongoing training plus access to a network of like-minded franchisees and guidance from our expert management team. We are on an exciting growth journey to help more clients receive quality care in their own homes and it’s great to have Idris on board.”
