Fake Festivals

“I only live round the corner from Fake Festivals HQ, so have seen Jez and his business develop over the years. I went to the very first Fake Festival in Haxey in 2007. I had always wanted to put on an event with my brother-in-law Paul who lives in Ashby de la Zouch. So we decided to approach Jez and his team to provide us with a Fake Festival in Ashby. I located the site, then Jez and his team took over. They attended council meetings as well as submitting license applications. It wasn’t long before our Ashby de la Zouch Fake Festival was up and running live on the website. Tickets and promotional material were delivered by courier to my office. Then my work started. I promoted the Festival with my brother-in-law in between our full time jobs.On the day of the Festival we had 1400 people rocking inside the marquee, it was amazing. We are doing it all again next year and adding another location to our tour.“
