I joined Hays Travel as a Personal Travel Consultant having worked for a multiple on the high street. I needed more scope for my customers - to be able to manage their expectations - and didn't feel I could do that as a high street operator. Since starting as a Personal Travel Consultant, Hays have given me great support around business development. They have helped me arrange wedding fayres, have provided me with bespoke marketing materials, and much more. We have a great support team who are there for any day-to-day general queries - you just have to pick up the phone and there’s always someone there.

I chose Hays because of the products that they offer, the fact that they are independent, the wealth of tour operators and suppliers I have access to, excellent commercial terms and instant commission. Being a Personal Travel Consultant for Hays Travel works for me as it offers me the flexibility of working hours that I can work around my family. The best thing about being part of the Hays Travel family is the close network of colleagues. Although I am some distance from head office, it really doesn’t feel like that.
