How Subrina’s diverse professional background laid the foundations for success

Like many NIC Local franchisees, Subrina does not come from a commercial cleaning background, with her career to date encompassing very different roles.

“I hold a BA Hons in Criminology and have experience working with clients and families dealing with many complex issues,” she explains.

“In addition to this, I owned and managed a convenience store with a post office. This saw me managing all daily operations, including dealing with staff and customers, ensuring everything ran smoothly.

“This diverse background has equipped me with strong problem-solving skills, customer service expertise, and a solid understanding of business operations.”

After making the decision to sell her shop, Subrina began looking for a new franchise opportunity that allowed her to make the most of her skills, whilst building another valuable business.

“I anticipate that having a dedicated BDM will provide valuable guidance and support as I navigate the initial stages of my business.”

“My goal is to grow a successful business and achieve healthy profits. I aim to expand my client base, build a strong team, and establish a reputation for quality and reliability in the commercial cleaning sector.

“From there, I believe the sky’s the limit. I am so excited to see the business grow into a really strong asset which we have the potential to sell when the time is right for us.”
