Exactly how much you can expect to earn from your franchise can vary a great deal due to a wide variety of factors. Based on our existing franchisees’ performance, you can reasonably expect:

Every van in our network typically turns over at least £350 per day, with top performers seeing sales in excess of £550 per day. This is based on just a single van, of course, and many of our franchisees are now expanding to multiple vans and enjoy the extra profits which come with them.

The FDM is always available for help and visits each Franchise Partner quarterly to document success and plan improvements and growth. Franchise Partners are supplied with a local area marketing toolkit and in January/ February Cafe2U holds its Annual Conference where Franchise Partners from around the UK and Ireland gather for a motivating weekend of learning and networking.

Financial Information

Our franchise fee (excluding your vehicle) starts from just £20,950 plus vat; which includes your exclusive territory licence, training, launch and marketing pack.

Your Cafe2U all-electric mobile café and all your equipment can be funded over 3, 4 or 5 years. We can assist you in arranging finance (subject to finance approval) so your personal investment can be as low as £20,000.

You could even qualify for a Government backed Business Start-Up Scheme which would allow you to borrow up to £25,000 without investing any money of your own. This figure doubles, if the business has two Directors. We are more than happy to discuss this option in more detail with you.

Franchise Territories

We have a unique territory-mapping program based on a sample of existing territories. This allows us to provide you with an exclusive Cafe2U territory, which we know will provide a customer base sufficient for the needs of a successful franchise.

Exclusive territories allow you to choose your area and never compete with other Cafe2U Franchise Partners. With Cafe2U, your neighbours are your teammates, not your competition.

What is the initial investment required and what does it include?

The initial investment is around £ 42,500.00 The breakdown of this is the franchise fee of £20,950 + VAT and a deposit requirement of £12,500 + VAT if you're not buying a vehicle outright; plus, around £2,400.00 to cover extra costs such as:

If you're applying for funding (there'll be a small cost for putting together a business plan for you, and for arranging the financing on the vehicle.)
Home storage equipment (if required)
Legal fees (assuming you use a lawyer for legal due diligence)

What is the earning potential for a Cafe2U franchisee?

When we look at the, the network currently, and those that are treating this as a full-time business, which most franchisees do, you should be looking at an earnings figure, in year one, of at least £50,000. That's not sales, or the value of the products you're selling to your customers. That's your earnings after all of your, fixed and variable costs are deducted, but that could go up to a £100,000 a year depending on how many stocks you're doing, and how many events you're doing in addition to your your Monday to Friday, route; so, the figure if £50,000 is your realistic earnings potential in year one.
