Training and Support

At Cafe2U our training and support is second to none. We make sure you have the tools for success. In March 2009, the Cafe2U Acceleration Package was launched. This four-week training and support program for all new Cafe2U Franchise Partners ensures that your business gets off to a flying start.

Financial Information

Our franchise fee (excluding your vehicle) starts from just £20,950 plus vat; which includes your exclusive territory licence, training, launch and marketing pack.

Your Cafe2U all-electric mobile café and all your equipment is £49,950, and can be funded over 3, 4 or 5 years. We can assist you in arranging finance (subject to finance approval) even if your personal investment is just £20,000.

You could even qualify for a Government backed Business Start-Up Scheme which would allow you to borrow up to £25,000 without investing any money of your own. This figure doubles, if the business has two Directors. We are more than happy to discuss this option in more detail with you.

Coffee Franchise Enjoys Crowning Glory

Cafe2U was invited to tender to cater the coronation having provided its services to the circa 3,500 military personnel and dignitaries who took part in the funeral procession of Queen Elizabeth II in 2022.

Cafe2U won the tender and, on the Tuesday before the coronation, a fleet of its franchisees made the journey to the capital, arriving to serve coffees and pastries to the circa 6,000 military personnel taking part in a practise run in the early hours of Wednesday morning on the closed roads of central London.

On the day of the coronation, the franchisees served once again, helping keep the biggest military parade the UK has seen in more than 70 years supplied with caffeine and sweet treats.

Cafe2U's franchisees were supported by the company's management team, who spent their time going from van to van restocking supplies to ensure there were plenty of products for the busy participants to enjoy.

CEO of Cafe2U Martyn Ward said: "We were delighted and absolutely honoured to have the opportunity to play our part in such a momentous and historic global event and thrilled that everything went so smoothly.

"We estimate we served around 10,000 coffees and 5,000 pastries over the two days, including a very high number of 'double double' espressos. In hindsight, that was probably due to the first procession run-through taking place in the very early hours of Wednesday morning!

"Suffice to say the schedule for rehearsals was exhaustive and those taking part were extremely appreciative of the light relief afforded by a lovely coffee and a pastry at 2.00am.

"Most of the franchisees that took part are based in the Greater London area but one of our newest franchise partners travelled all the way from Bath to be a part of the celebrations, highlighting the commitment of our incredible team. This didn't go unnoticed by some of the organisers with military backgrounds either, who praised us for going above and beyond the call of duty when they requested two more of our vans so there'd be no shortage of pastries on the day. Of course, we were only too happy to oblige."

Bernard Sullivan, owner of a Cafe2U franchise in Biggleswade, said: "When I first became a Cafe2U franchisee, I never thought I'd get to meet as many amazing people as I have. Serving our armed service personnel when Cafe2U helped cater the Queen's funeral last year was an honour; being asked to serve them a second time was simply humbling.

"I know I speak for all the franchisees who took part in the coronation when I say the occasion was one of our proudest moments and an achievement we'll all remember forever."
