In 1946, Simone Mahlar opened her own salon with the idea of customizing women's make-up and beauty regime by first examining each woman and their skin and body types. In the 1970's the first franchise was opened. Today the salon uses a computerized system to treat individual women's needs and provide make-up and cosmetics for their customers. There are now over 110 salons in 6 countries worldwide
