FASTSIGNS recommends that you have a minimum net worth of £150,000, of which at least £35,000 is liquid assets.

Typically banks will lend up to 70% of the total investment. FASTSIGNS have excellent relationships with all major banks and are able to introduce you to franchise specialists in each bank.

A perfect example of this is our recent partnership with Tax Assist Accountants, an accounting franchise with over 230 offices across the UK. They approached us with a significant challenge: to help them rebrand their UK network. The project would require meticulous planning and execution to ensure a consistent and impactful brand presence at each location.

While this was a national project, managed centrally at Head Office, the signage work for each Tax Assist office was carried out by our local FASTSIGNS centres.

And because we’re a network focused on working together, it was one of our franchisees who lead the way with Tax Assist. [WHO, from WHERE?] conducted a thorough site survey and provided a range of samples and costed mock-ups, based on their brand guidelines, to create clear and effective signage. This helped Tax Assist understand the cost implications of their rebranding project for their franchisees.

This was followed up by our Head Office team attending TaxAssist’s rebranding launch, so they could speak to the franchisees directly, answering any questions, and inviting them to use any of the FASTSIGNS services.

National success

We must have made a great impression, because enquiries rolled in rapidly. Each time a TaxAssist office asked us to add them to the job list, we paired them with the nearest local FASTSIGNS franchisee, who arranged their own site visit, take the necessary measurements, and manufacture and install the new signage, based on the approved designs and specifications developed with Tax Assist’s Head Office.

This process, set to continue until March 2026, has allowed our franchisees to benefit from ready-to-go work, giving them an additional revenue stream without having to find new clients themselves. It’s also helped create connection between our franchisees and others within their local business community – which is essential for any business owner, as it can lead to repeat business or referrals.
