Kitchen Makeovers strengthens franchise support as network continues to grow
Home improvement franchise Kitchen Makeovers has expanded its Business Development Team, increasing the resources dedicated to supporting franchisees as its nationwide network grows beyond 40 franchisees.
The investment has created a dedicated three-person Business Development Team. Two new full-time Business Development Managers join Operations Manager Jonathan Head who has been with the company for two years, strengthening the hands-on support available to franchisees from onboarding through to the ongoing development of their businesses.
For Kitchen Makeovers, the expansion reflects a focus on ensuring the infrastructure behind the franchise grows alongside the network - giving franchisees access to practical, commercially focused guidance as they establish and develop their territories.
"Growing the network is only one part of building a strong franchise business - we also have to make sure the support behind it grows at the right pace," said Will Frankling, Co-founder of Kitchen Makeovers.
"We've invested in experienced people who understand the kitchen sector and can work closely with franchisees on the realities of developing their businesses. As the network continues to expand, having more dedicated resource in the field means we can provide increasingly focused support and help franchisees make the most of the opportunities within their territories."
Kitchen Makeovers specialises in cost-effective kitchen renovations, transforming existing spaces by replacing elements including doors and worktops without the need for a complete kitchen refit.
Nick Salter and Tareq Heera have joined the Business Development Team following previous roles within the kitchen sector, bringing experience in sales development and financial management. Their remit spans the franchise journey, from supporting new franchisees during onboarding to working alongside established business owners in their territories.
"It was fantastic to meet so many franchisees at the recent annual conference and see first-hand the ambition and engagement across the network," said Nick.
"A big part of our role now is spending meaningful time with franchisees. That gives us a much clearer understanding of each individual business - what's working well, where there is untapped potential and where focused support could help improve performance."
Alongside face-to-face coaching, the expanded team is making greater use of Kitchen Makeovers' bespoke CRM and reporting tools to understand performance across each franchise businesses. The team is also using an AI tool designed to identify actions that can be completed quickly to support income generation or improve profit margins.
Combining this data with regular contact in the field enables the Business Development Team to provide more targeted guidance, helping franchisees identify priorities and turn performance insights into practical actions.
The latest investment builds on Kitchen Makeovers' wider development of franchisee support as the network has expanded. This has included enhanced initial training, regular development activity and greater use of its bespoke CRM to help franchisees manage and understand their businesses.
Will added: "The aim isn't simply to give franchisees more support - it's to make that support increasingly useful and relevant to their individual business goals. Having the right people, systems and insight in place gives us a stronger platform to support the network as we continue to grow."
