It’s these values that make us different… and successful. After all, the strongest businesses are those that set out to make a difference and not only money.
In short, we are exactly what a care company should be!
If you’re looking to make a difference and a rewarding life for yourself, both personally and financially, read on as we’d love to hear from you.
A Rewarding Business!
Caremark firmly believe in getting the caring formula right. By really caring about your customers and really caring about your staff, coupled with using our business model and policies, financial success will naturally follow.Your profits matter to us too! That’s why we still have one of the lowest Advice and Support Fees in the industry. We can do this because we are wholly UK owned with no overseas investors to report to.
Why Home Care?
Home care is an extremely stable industry. And it’s growing year on year! With the ageing population ever increasing, and the fact that they’re choosing to receive care in their own homes, means home care is recession and pandemic proof.
With stability and longevity, home care is a great choice for owning a franchise and a profitable future.
Why Caremark?
We’re not new to this. In fact, we are one of the largest home care companies in the UK; delivering more than 124,000 hours hours of excellent home care each week. Our 19 years of experience means our business model and policies are fine-tuned and proven to succeed.
As a Caremark franchise owner, you will be one of 126 or so other Caremark offices. That’s a lot of people to bounce ideas off, share success stories and to network with. With that in mind, we facilitate regular events and conferences for our franchise network and provide regular platforms to tap into this non-competing, yet knowledgeable peer group.
Our brand operates in all home care markets. This is because, as we’ve said before, we care passionately about people - all people!
We believe that everyone, regardless of their social standing, should have the right to remain living in their own home and be given the care and assistance to do so as safely and securely as possible.
We have worked hard to build our brand in all markets and across the entire home care industry; serving private customers who pay for their own care as well as customers who require their local authority to arrange care for them. Irrelevant of how people find Caremark, we provide the same exacting, high-quality care to everyone. For you, this means you have access to the entire home care market, not just a portion of it.
Our Ideal Franchise Owner
Caremark franchise owners come from a variety of backgrounds, some with extensive business experience and others with none at all. Whatever your level of knowledge, we will work in partnership to give you the skills you require. You do not need any care experience. With a caring nature, great business acumen and dedication, you can have a successful business, both financially and personally. Not only that, you’ll be providing a service that changes lives for the better whilst also creating hundreds of job opportunities. What could be better?

Ten finalists, chosen from over 6,500 care assistants across the country, have been recognised for their exceptional dedication, compassion, and commitment to making a positive difference for their customers. Each finalist has impacted lives in ways that go far beyond caregiving, fostering independence, companionship, and hope.
The 2025 ‘Incredibles’ finalists are:
Amanda Buckthorpe – Southend & Rochford
Amanda has been nominated for her unswerving commitment to one customer, whom she cares for over 12 hours each day. She not only looks after this customer’s feeding and daily needs due to her paralysis, but also tended to them when they were in hospital, supported both the customer and their family through a recent loss, and extended her care to the customer’s husband after he was diagnosed with cancer.
- Rajwant Sandhu – Dartford & Gravesham
Rajwant has been recognised for her dedication, compassion and calm professionalism. Experienced particularly in dementia care, Rajwant always prioritises her customers’ wellbeing, dignity and safety, with patience and kindness. She takes the time to learn every customer’s habits and routines so she can offer truly person-centred care. Families report that her presence brings them peace of mind.
- Bobbie Lee Eveleigh – Dartford & Gravesham
Bobbie consistently goes above and beyond in her care for her customers, building strong, trusting relationships that have a measurable impact on their wellbeing. She gets to know them inside and out, understanding their routines, preferences and what makes them feel valued. Bobbie uses a sensitive, patient approach so they feel at ease with her, notably winning over customers who were previously opposed to receiving care.
- Muhammad Rizwan – Hatfield, Welwyn & St Albans
Muhammad always goes the extra mile, taking the time to build strong relationships with customers. One customer with dementia and learning difficulties is keen on Formula 1, so Muhammed went out of his way to find a local car show, organised a taxi, and took the customer to a show for the day.
- Christabel Njiru – Bromley & Lewisham
Christabel has been nominated due to her ability to combine compassion with leadership and resilience. For one customer, daily life had become extremely challenging due to his outbursts and the intensity of his needs. Christabel worked tirelessly to establish routines, recognise early triggers, and develop clear responses, with incredible attention to detail. She also helped him rebuild his bond with his family, providing connection, joy and hope.
- Joyleen Nyawaranda – Cheltenham & Gloucester
Since joining Caremark, Joyleen has had a profound and transformative impact on both her customers and the wider team. Her compassion and professionalism have elevated the standard of care across the service, making her not only a trusted provider but a symbol of caregiving excellence. Demonstrating empathy and skill, Joyleen has turned around care refusals and built strong relationships that help preserve the customer’s dignity and autonomy.
- Andrew Uwareme – Rotherham
Andrew’s dedication, patience and ability have had a profound impact on one little boy’s life. Although it has not been an easy relationship, Andrew has shown huge resilience and consistency in the care he has given, helping to build his customer’s confidence and enable him to enjoy new adventures. How Andrew has expanded the young customer’s opportunities and experiences has been hugely positive for both the youngster and his family.
- Remya Sathyaseelan – Barnsley
Remya is being recognised for her outstanding attention to detail, especially when it comes to record keeping and medication alerts. She has also been instrumental in managing several emergency situations to avoid hospitalisation, prioritises customer needs above her own commitments, and even helped one customer redecorate his home after the passing of his father to help him through the grieving process.
- Lucy Drury – Mansfield & Ashfield
Recognising how socially isolated one of her customers was, Lucy built up a bond with him to help learn about his interests. As a result, Lucy helped the customer rekindle their joy of colouring and painting, arranged for them to attend local community activities, and even sourced new furniture for his bedroom so it felt more inviting. By listening and understanding what motivates him, Lucy has made her customer feel heard, valued and empowered.
- Ephantus Kariuki – Ketting & Wellingborough
Ephantus has been nominated for his gentle, patient and professional approach. Always willing to step in, he was the first to help when a bedridden customer was left alone in the early hours of the morning when her husband had to be taken to the hospital. Ephantus was with the customer within 30 minutes, much to the relief of their family based in the USA.
David Glover, CEO of Caremark, commented:
“Many congratulations to all our finalists – the nominees for this year’s award are nothing short of remarkable. These people not only perform their jobs with excellence but do so with a deep sense of empathy and a genuine desire to improve the lives of others. They represent the heart of Caremark and the broader care community.
“I’m so proud of the outstanding care our team provides to customers across the UK each day. It’s a privilege to be honouring our finalists’ achievements with a dedicated awards event again this year. We hope this recognition will show them how much we appreciate their compassion, encourage continued excellence within the care sector and inspire more shared stories next year.”
To honour these inspiring care assistants, Caremark will be hosting a special event at the iconic Fortnum & Mason in November this year. The event will offer finalists a chance to network, enjoy a luxurious afternoon tea, and be celebrated for their extraordinary contributions to the care sector. The highlight of the event will be the exciting announcement of’ The Incredible of the Year’, a title reserved for the finalist whose work has shown exceptional dedication and impact.
I chose Caremark because of the brand name. Caremark is nationally known and I also like its mission statement which is to achieve greatness in the provision of domiciliary care throughout the UK. I found out during the initial consultation that Caremark has in place an excellent support package for all its Franchisees and that is something you don't really get with other Franchise companies.”
It is important for any franchisor to quickly recognise weaknesses in their franchise owners and help them grow and develop in those areas. After all, one of the reasons we bought into a franchise was for the guidance and support the franchisor can provide. I believe Caremark, through personal experience, are well placed to recognise these issues in new franchise owners.
If you were to ask me what I was doing right, then the only thing that I can say is that in our business there is no formula for success except perhaps an unconditional acceptance of the Caremark system and what this brings. Caremark is the best investment I have ever made and I would like to share that belief with the rest of the network.
We have worked together for the past 10 years at Oldham local authority within children, young people and families directorate. Having previously considered other franchisors within the domiciliary care sector, we came to the decision that Caremark was the one for us. This was due to the quality and professionalism shown at every level of the organisation.
