Oscar Pet Foods is a UK franchise delivering superior pet products to customers in their homes. Quality pet food, free from artificial flavourings and colourings, is at the heart of the business but franchisees also deliver a range of toys, treats, healthcare, bedding, bowls, ... for dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, fish and other small animals. Customers also receive free advice from experts in nutrition, behaviour and veterinary issues.



Oscar franchisees are called Local Nutritional Advisors and will provide a committed service, direct to the customers' front doors within the exclusive territory awarded by the franchisor.

Oscar is the first and only pet food franchise to offer its network of franchisees a formal nutrition qualification that is recognised by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation, Ofqual. In collaboration with the Centre of Applied Pet Ethology (COAPE), an individual course has been put in place exclusively for Oscar. It is spread over nine months and allows the franchisee to achieve an advanced knowledge in pet nutrition.

A personal trainer will ensure the new franchisee will have a smooth and effective start. After that, the franchisor will be there to support the franchisee. Regular area meetings are held in conjunction with a local member of the Franchise Advisory Council to build on the franchisee’s personal development plans, maximise performance and marketing strategies.
