The franchisee goes to the client’s home for a free consultation, offering expert advice and taking measurements. They don’t need to keep stock as each window covering is made to measure. They can start the business as a mobile franchise then grow to a store-based business with staff. Each franchisee receives an exclusive area for trading.

Training and support
The franchisee will attend a four-day induction course which includes: sales, business planning, finance, marketing, product features and benefits, technical and installation information, etc. At the start, the new franchisee will receive a procedures manual, samples of the product range as well as vehicle livery (if needed). A detailed marketing plan is put in place for launch.Both field-based and office-based support are available, including area managers, the Apollo Blinds head office support team, marketing and PR support, product training (for new products), peer support from fellow franchisees. Quarterly meetings are held with all local franchisees.
