Zambrero is a modern Mexican restaurant franchise brand, serving freshly prepared burritos and bowls. We first launched in Australia in 2005 with a powerful mission: to help end world hunger through our Plate 4 Plate initiative.

Today we have over 350 restaurants globally, and we’re the fastest growing Mexican franchise in the UK.

We’re famous for fresh, made-to-order burritos and bowls, alongside tacos, nachos and quesadillas, with customisable slow-cooked meat, vegetarian and vegan fillings.

Our Plate 4 Plate mission means for every burrito or bowl sold we donate a meal to someone in need. It’s our way of helping end world hunger, and it gives our brand a real purpose that sets us apart.

With our simple operating model, central supply chain, no requirement for extraction, and training programme that removes the need for skilled chefs, we can open in more locations, reduce overheads, and deliver strong returns for our Franchise Partners.

Our Development Agents are experienced hospitality operators who support franchise partners from site selection and launch, through training, marketing and ongoing operational coaching. Each Development Agent territory has its own restaurants used for training as Centre of Excellence, so support is local, hands-on and continuous.
