Sanco is a sit-down bottomless Neapolitan pizzeria. There is no menu. A changing selection of pizzas comes to the table, classics plus a few wildcards that move with the seasons, and a table light lets guests set the pace: light on, keep it coming; light off, take a breather. Established in 2023, our Newcastle flagship has traded since October 2025 and is rated 4.9/5 on Tripadvisor from 300+ reviews and 4.8 on Google. Our franchise model and legal agreement are now in place and we’re appointing our first partners.

Our Mission

We want to build Sanco into a distinctive hospitality brand across the UK. We're not looking to become another pizza chain. We want partners who will protect the personality, warmth and fun that made Sanco special, and bring a little of the Italian way of eating to every city we open in.
 

Why It Works

• Real craft: proper authentic Neapolitan pizza, no shortcuts. Our Pizzaioli and founder trained in Naples and are AVPN accredited.
  
• Guests never have to decide: no menu to study, one price for bottomless pizza, and the table light puts guests in control of pace.
  
• A set price, then drinks and desserts: bottomless pizza at £24 a head, with cocktails, wine, Italian beer, coffee and desserts on top.
  
• Repeat business built in: our digital loyalty scheme rewards guests with a free bottomless pizza experience after five stamps.

Our goal is to be number one for service and pizza in every city on Tripadvisor, already achieved within ten months at our flagship venue.

The Market

Diners want value and quality: 76% of UK consumers cite value for money as a key driver when eating out, and 75% cite quality.

Experience builds loyalty: venues with interactive service and a memorable concept are expected to gain an edge with diners.

Franchising is driving growth: branded restaurant expansion is being driven by franchising and regional clustering

Format

High street units, plus hotels or similar venues, with the option to add collection and delivery partners. The menu is not halal as standard, but a fully halal site is possible by arrangement.

The Investment

• Franchise fee: £20,000 + VAT, one-off
• Equipment: £30,000 to £40,000, including the main pizza oven, ideally wood-fired, which has no mains energy cost
• Fit-out: depends on the size and condition of your site, and is scoped with you as build costs are local to your area
• Working capital: £20,000 to £40,000 recommended for the first 3 months
• Ongoing fees: 5% of gross revenue, plus £400 a month marketing
• Funding: Sanco has no preferred lender, so you arrange your own funding

Store Performance

Sanco Newcastle (company-owned) averages £60,000 to £75,000 in monthly sales, £20,000 to £25,000 gross profit and a 20% to 25% net margin. These are historical results of a company-owned site, not a forecast or a guarantee of the performance of any franchised site. Full accounts and the P&L model are shared after the qualifying call, under NDA.

Training & Support

• Full training in pizza production, service, hospitality, systems and Sanco standards
• Support from site selection through pre-opening, recruitment and launch marketing
