Ricky the Lockforce technical trainer did an amazing job…” I have been a marine engineer for the past 14 years but the opportunity came up to purchase Lockforce Southampton and being my own Boss is something I’ve always wanted. The training was very good, Ricky the Lockforce technical trainer did an amazing job at teaching me all there is to know about being a locksmith. I’m only a few weeks in but it’s been great and also been a challenge not knowing when the phone is going to ring or what job is next! But I have enjoyed it and made the most of every job making the customers happy either being able to let them in their home or replacing their locks to make them feel more safe and secure at home. I would say to anyone looking at the Lockforce group to have an open mind and it will be the best career position you will make.

I choose Lockforce after seeing an advert and enquiring, I met Gayle & Sean and found them engaging especially compared to some of the other more recognisable franchises and I was hooked. Training was enjoyable, good balance between workshop & live jobs. I found the training very informative and enjoyable with lots to learn and further learning still to do. To anyone thinking of making the leap… I would say do it. It’s still early days for me but all the signs so far are good. Coming from my previous background life is already so much less stressful.

Intense although very enjoyable…” Before I joined Lockforce I run an electrical contracting business but felt it was time for a change. From the initial conversations with Gayle to the introductory meeting with Sean, Lockforce were very authentic and caring in their approach. The technical training with Carl was split over a two-week period and was intense although very enjoyable. The technical training was split between classroom learning and real on the job training which I think has given me a good initial understanding of locksmithing. The head office training was also great and has given me the tools to hopefully make my business a success. To anyone thinking of Lockforce I’d say… Go for it!!

The Locksmith industry sounded interesting, different and quite unusual and I was curious to find out what it was about. I wanted the freedom of being my own Boss and having control of my own workload, I also wanted to be able to transfer the work-life experience and skills I have already gained. The training was challenging but very rewarding, it is a lot to take in. It has been enlightening and fun.
