Cavanagh saw a potential opportunity in this, and he made a deal with McGuffin to find him work in exchange for a finder’s fee. Soon Cavanagh dropped out of university and established Jani-King with money borrowed from a friend.

Jani-King are an active member in the US Green Building Association, and established the Green Cleaning Programme in 2011.
