Vival is a convenience store chain that is the banner of the Casino group. The majority of Vival stores are located in small towns and rural villages which lack a larger supermarket. Vival was created in 1998 and began its franchising system in 1999. It has grown quickly and currently has 1800 stores in France. The franchise is the first network of food franchising in rural areas in France.
