Right at Home is an award-winning home care business model delivering personal care and support to a number of clients such as seniors who wish to stay in their home, disabled people, people with specific medical conditions, people who come back from hospital, etc. This is a management franchise, which means the owner operates and runs the business from commercial premises, employs a Care Manager and builds a local team of CareGivers. Initial training lasts two weeks at the head and is followed by on-site training and Registered Manager course. The company's RightStart programme gives detailed and tailored support to new owners as they set up their business, recruit a Registered Manager and obtain regulatory registration. After launch, the RightStart programme helps implementing the franchisee's business plan; marketing, recruiting, establishing a business presence online, creating PR for office opening and finding the first clients. Regular visits to the new office are scheduled, as well as audits, webinars and phone calls. Support between fellow franchisees is available and highly encouraged.
