Welcome to the team! Tell us a bit about yourself?

I live with my husband and my two year old son in the North of Scotland. I have 15 years experience in an office environment in both public and private sector organisations. I am a competitive character who loves to learn something new every day!


Why did you decide to go into business?

In my last job I obtained a commendation for my dedication, selfless commitment and professionalism. Why not apply this effort to my own business?


What does becoming a SmartPA Partner mean to you?

Going into business used to be considered risky, however becoming my own boss allows me to own my destiny.

Becoming a SmartPA partner allows me to maintain a good work/life balance. It enables me to use my specialist skills and set my own goals with the continued support of a leading brand.

I’m looking forward to the sense of pride in building something of my own.

As a SmartPA Partner, what are you most looking forward to?

I’m initially looking forward to the training as an introduction back to work, after maternity leave. I’m excited about the challenges that lie ahead, connecting with clients and other partners.


Who is your hero?

My hero would have to be my Father. For over 50 years he ran his own successful building business, gaining most new business by ‘word of mouth’.


What advice would you give to other women considering going into business?

Ensure you have a good support network in place. Make an announcement to friends and family. Not only will it give you the confidence to succeed but it will give you their continued support. Believe in yourself and others will to.
