Marketing consultant scales his Sandler business
David commented, “I’ve been a franchise partner with Sandler Training since June 2010. My territory is in North London where I live with my family. I discovered the Sandler opportunity after investigating other franchise opportunities. What struck me was how specific they were about setting out and staying on track with your business growth objectives – all the others seemed much vaguer with less proven foundations.”
After reaching a point in his career where he wanted more freedom, David decided to start looking for a scalable business opportunity with defined processes and systems already in place. Being a part of Sandler’s franchise network has provided David with just that. With a personalised growth framework and six conferences each year (three in the UK and three in the USA) David has received the support and mentoring from other Sandler franchise owners in the network and the UK head office that has enabled him to build a successful business that makes the most of his expertise.
David lives with his wife and three children who, like their dad, are devoted rugby fans and play for Saracens junior teams. The family love the friendly atmosphere while the quality of the coaching is first rate, with former international rugby legends now coaching the teams with their children. David spends most of his time outside of work enjoying the company of his family and growing vegetables – he has two allotments and is a proud member of the Allotment Association.
“The benefits of being part of the network are unbelievable. If you ever need support there’s someone there to help – whether it’s another franchisee or someone at HQ. So when you factor in the on-going training you receive, you can approach every new client from a strong position,” explains David.
David’s business is now in its fourth year, and while he’s more than happy with progress he’s made so far, he has even bigger ambitions for his franchise… David concludes, “My ambition is to build a portfolio of 70-80 clients, supported by 3 associates and 2-3 marketing people. The thing about Sandler’s franchise is the potential to succeed is almost limitless.”
