What is your history?
For ten years I worked in the motor trade industry, undertaking various role within sales, accounts and business development for the likes of BMW and Mercedes. Then six years ago I decided I wanted a change of career so I moved into the digital marketing sector. I spent 3 years working within web design agencies, selling bespoke websites with a particular focus on the education market. Then in November 2010, I decided to become a freelance Internet Consultant, where I assisted the likes of Mattel UK and Mytrainticket maximise their online opportunities.
So why did you consider a franchise career?
I really enjoyed the flexibility that came with being self-employed but rather than doing everything alone, I wanted a career where I could utilise my existing experiences but still benefit from on-going head office support. I wanted to be part of an established and successful network where there was the infrastructure already in place for me to grow a successful business.
Why did you choose Spoton.net?
I loved the business model! I really liked that I could build an unlimited residual income from marketing a proven and tested product, within a protected territory. When I came for my discovery day at the Spoton.net Head Office, two things really stood out for me. Firstly, the team are all so ‘real’ and honest. Secondly, I really liked the level support that they offer, both initially to help new franchisees get their business off the ground and then the ongoing training and support they provide.
