Going from strength to strength, the company’s continuous and rapid growth has led to the expansion of a new distribution centre to give EnviroVent the space to increase its product lines and respond to demand quickly, whilst also creating new jobs in the local area.
The company’s continued investment into R&D is fundamental to its growth. Over the last decade, ventilation technology has evolved in line with new legislation to improve energy efficiency and the demand for technologies such as heat recovery systems has risen sharply.
The success of new innovations will not only contribute to growth but will also secure the company’s financial future. One of EnviroVent’s latest innovations, the heatSava, is a through the wall Single Room Heat Recovery Unit ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, WC’s and utility rooms in retrofit and new build projects. Designed as an energy efficient alternative to a traditional extractor fan, the heatSava recovers up to 75% of the heat that would normally be lost through extraction.
Nick Heaton, managing director of EnviroVent said: “The official unveiling of EnviroVent’s new distribution centre and manufacturing facilities recognises the company’s sustained growth through tough economic times. This demonstrates that through our continued investment and commitment to developing new innovations, we have been able to expand and grow, resulting in new jobs and a boost to both the local and national economy. ”
The Rt Hon Dr Vince Cable, Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, said that he was delighted to be officially opening EnviroVent’s new distribution centre, describing the business as ‘an outstanding local company’.
