Tinies has set up the mobile crèche service to meet demand for safe, fun and organised childcare at one-off events, particularly weddings.
A network of 22 local offices and more than 1000 experienced and qualified childcare staff around the country means it is the first mobile crèche to offer local service with nationwide standards and backing.
Oliver Black, director of Tinies who developed the idea, said childcare at weddings was an important part of the planning process.
“Children attending weddings has always been a talking point. Should they be invited? Will they distract from the day? Will the children be bored? Will guests be offended if their children are not included?
“A crèche solves these problems and allows children to enjoy the day and take part in a host of fun activities. However, it is vital that children are looked after in an organised, stimulating and safe way.”
He added that most couples left almost nothing to chance when organising their wedding but often took little time to check out the quality of facilities a venue might have for looking after children and what there will be to keep the younger children amused.
The Tinies crèche team are all qualified, trained in first aid, cleared by the Criminal Records Bureau and insured.
They bring all the activities, play equipment, games, music, sports equipments arts and crafts needed to keep any young person from three months old to 16 interested and contented.
They transform space at the venue, be it a hotel or private home, into a fun, stimulating and safe crèche so that children can enjoy the day as much as the adults. Tinies childcarers will organise games inside and outside, provide sticking, painting and other arts and crafts activities and even bring in children’s entertainers such as clowns or magicians.
