8 months ago, when Peter Viner owner of an approved service and repair centre for Citroen and Peugeot vehicles, J & S Auto Services contacted Keith to place an order for some low cost branded key rings, Keith was glad to help.
The garage had started putting branded keyrings on the key fobs of every car that came in for a service, but months later staff could not understand why every time a car came back into the garage the keyring was gone. Coming from a previous career in Sales & Marketing Keith immediately saw the problem and advised them to buy a product that better reflected the prestige of their brand.
Over 1500 ad loops later, the majority of cars coming back into the dealership still have their loop attached and Peter has just placed an order for a further 1500.
“We were so impressed with Keith,” said Peter Viner. “Without him we would still be handing out cheap keyrings and wondering why no one liked them! He really knows his business and we were impressed that he took the time to find the right product for us. Customers love the new loops and they are always commenting on how useful they are. I’ve even had people asking for extras, I tell them they are welcome to one, as long as they buy a new car to go with it!”
Explained Keith: “It’s about knowing your products. It was obvious to me that the original product did not suit the marketing requirements of keeping J & S Auto Services contact details to hand which is why I suggested an ad loop. The ad loop appeals to young and old alike and is very handy for pulling out of bags or hanging on hooks. It now meets and exceeds the original marketing requirements.”
