FASTSIGNS® Peterborough was the main sponsor of the Championship side Peterborough United’s home game against Hull City. The firm has been working with the soccer side for the last four years and has built up a close relationship with the club.

As part of the deal, FASTSIGNS which is run by Alan Reaveley and his brother-in-law Richard Towers, got a meal and tour of the ground, chose the man of the match and presented him with a bottle of champagne after the game. The duo also wrote a short piece for the match-day programme which was read by thousands of fans.

FASTSIGNS specialises in making signs and graphics of all descriptions and has been working with Posh for the last four years on all the club’s printed and printed material.

The partners have been in business together in their home city for the last three decades and have been running the FASTSIGNS Centre for six years.

Alan said: “We have built up a great working relationship with Peterborough United and it is really exciting to be involved with the club during such an exciting period in its history. During the time we have been involved with the club they have been promoted three times and it feels as though they are really going places.”

Alan added: “Peterborough are a really important part of the city and we honestly believe it is an honour and a privilege to be working so closely with them. The team and the club has helped to put Peterborough on the national map and everyone is really excited about the coming season.

“It was a big thrill to be given the chance to get to see what goes on behind the scenes of a Championship club on a match day. We have got to know many of the people who work at Peterborough and who have helped to make it the success story it has become in recent years.

“The Posh has always been a really important part of the city and as a business it is important that we are so closely involved with such an important and influential institution. We are really looking forward to what the rest of the season holds and continuing our future relationship with the club.”
