Gill said: “You’ve got to take the plunge one day.  I really fancied going into the signage industry because I think it’s a solid business. People always need signs.  I’m really excited about the future and to meeting our first customers.”
 
Gill’s previous job was very demanding and she wanted to spend more time with her husband Steve.  Steve, who works for RAC, has over 35 years experience in sales management, and will be a valuable support to Gill in her new venture. Whilst he will remain with RAC as their National Operations Manager, he will be on hand to provide mentoring and coaching support.
 
FASTSIGNS Derby offers a complete signage and graphics service to businesses, from interior and exterior signs, posters and banners to vehicle graphics and point of sale products.

Also joining the business is Gill's lifelong friend, Sarah Godney, who will be the Company Secretary and in charge of Customer Services and Relations. Paul, her husband, is also joining as the Creative Designer. Paul has over 10 years experience in the graphics industry and served his apprenticeship as a printer in the late 90's.

Gill said: “We all have different skills to offer the business and because we’ve known each other for so long, we are very open and honest with one another. It’s lovely being able to work with such good friends. Combining our skills gives us a great opportunity to provide a bespoke service to anyone interested in signs, graphics or web design".
