Gurnek Singh previously worked in the fast food industry for 13 years before following in some of his family’s footsteps by joining Papa John’s as a franchisee. He commented: "Sheffield is a great big-city location. Its urban mix of families and students total more than 1.5 million in population. I have one successful Papa John’s already located in a main shopping centre and customers let me know there was plenty of demand for a second outlet.
"Dudley in the West Midlands, which opened a few weeks ago, is also exceeding my expectations," continues Gurnek.
"Staff have been busy since the first night, even though I’ve held off with any big promotional launches so far. Some basic leafleting has initially tempted customers and now they keep coming back for more!"
