“I’ve spent the past six years working with organisations on customer insight and research,” explains Erol Ayvaz. “I’ve always been fascinated by brands like Papa John’s and how they engage with their customers, so decided it was time to practice what I’ve been preaching and get a slice of the action by becoming a Papa John’s franchisee.
“My plans are currently self-funded by myself and business partner but the banks are also keen to talk to us about our future expansion,” continues Erol. “The company is at a ‘boom’ stage and with some proactive marketing, I’m really looking forward to bringing some fabulous pizza to the communities around my stores.”
Papa John’s uses 100% fresh dough pizzas combined with a unique tomato sauce made from the best Californian tomatoes, picked and packed from vine to can in just six hours, to give a better natural flavour.
“The quality of the product is in-fact, one of the main attractions to the Papa John’s concept,” continues Erol. “It was clear from the staff training how much attention to detail goes into the pizzas and the end result is phenomenal. My area manager who is a chef and who has spent many years in the industry is proud to serve up such top class pizza and keep customers coming back for more.
“In addition we have some exciting marketing initiatives on the menu,” explains Erol. “Partnerships with some innovative local organisations will be sure to attract attention and will no-doubt be one of the key ingredients of our success.”
Papa John’s is currently offering incentives to new franchisees for stores opening in Wales, The Midlands, North East, The North West and Scotland, including a royalty break for a specified period for stores opening before the end of 2014. The Company will also supply deals on equipment, plus marketing spend for the store opening launch. These deals are only available for 2014 and are limited, so first come first served!
