NBC Bird and Pest Solutions were triumphant at the 2008 Franchise Marketing Awards after being short listed for four out of eleven categories. The national bird and pest control company, based in Attleborough, Norfolk, scooped the Best Recruitment Literature Award.

The annual awards ceremony is held in recognition of the industry’s talent and effective marketing campaigns for products, services and franchisee recruitment. The awards are supported by key figures in the franchise sector, Brian Smart Director General of the British Franchise Association and Rob McKinlay, Editor of Business Franchise Magazine. Held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, Hyde Park, on Friday 4th April, the event was hosted by well-known comedian Frankie Boyle, from programmes such as Mock the Week, and 8 out of 10 Cats, and sponsored by Lloyds TSB and the Daily Mail.

NBC and its’ Marketing Manager, Kelly Smith, were thrilled to have followed their previous successes at the event from winning Best PR Campaign in 2007, and Kelly had won Most Innovative Marketing Campaign for Signs Express in 2006.

Kelly said: “We are delighted to have won the Best Recruitment Literature, a real reflection the excellence of the NBC Bird and Pest Solutions franchise.
