The launch now takes the entire range to 36 quality designs made up of 24 anniversary and 12 luxury wedding cards. The cards will be distributed by Card Connection’s network of 75 franchisees to more than 15,000 retail outlets throughout the UK including BP, WHS Travel, Budgens, Londis, Spar and Palmer & Harvey.
“The new additions to our wedding and anniversary range are both eye-catching and memorable,” confirms Andrew Cutler, sales and franchise director, Card Connection. “By regularly updating and expanding our line of over 1,500 greeting cards designs, we can ensure our valued retail customers have the very best selection of products available, at the right time. This helps optimise revenue streams for retailers and our team of dedicated franchisees.”
Highlights among the wedding designs include a gorgeous Santé Gesture design making use of the on-trend colour of the moment; purple with a delicate soft pink foil pattern. A Tall handmade, landscape design with a standout heart-shape diamante add-on, lots more mini gems and sparkly silver flitter add-on letters is a must for ‘bling’ lovers everywhere! An eye-catching classic wedding cake handmade design with add-on pearl and gem details plus a handmade photographic bouquet design with golden satin ribbon are on offer for a sophisticated send. For fun, there is also an appealing card featuring the ever popular ‘Wigwam’ characters.
The anniversary designs include a sweet and pretty handmade wife design incorporating delicate bird characters and a contemporary handmade text design with cute pink add-on twinkly gems and heart buttons. A new handmade card using an innovative opening format of a ‘gate fold’ as well as a stunning diamante gem and embossed foil is also available, plus an extremely cute handmade design with a gorgeous watercolour illustration of field mice with interlocking tails.
Card Connection has limited vacancies for franchisees who are keen to run an expanding business. Successful candidates would ideally have some management experience as, once established, they would be expected to employ a small team, operate a warehouse and have several liveried vans on the road.
Because the franchise networks in the UK and Ireland are complete, the available opportunities now consist of acquiring an already-established territory from an existing franchisee. These vary in price according to their level of development, but start at £20,000 (+ stock) with earnings potential in excess of £50,000 per annum.
