eBusiness UK earns top franchise industry affiliation
Blackburn’s eBusiness UK has been granted a much coveted membership to the British Franchise Association – and they’re the first and only company in their market to do so.
The BFA is the governing body for franchise firms in the UK and its strict code of business practice means that qualification is no easy task.
eBusiness UK, which supplies web design, ecommerce and search engine marketing services, passed the stringent application phase and has been granted membership.
This now marks out eBusiness UK as the best in its field when it comes to franchising, after every aspect of the business – from the people that run it to its business plan – was scrutinised.
Kam Kothia, the company’s managing director, said: “BFA membership is not awarded lightly, it took a great deal of time and effort to prove that we comply.
“However it is a very worthy accreditation and will make us stand out amongst other businesses. We are now the company that people who are considering and internet consultancy franchise will look to first.”
The franchise operation was established by eBusiness UK last year, which has lead to hundreds of applications. Already there are operations in Edinburgh and Glasgow, with several others in the pipeline.
It is another certificate for the increasingly crowded walls of eBusiness UK’s Capricorn Park offices, alongside the Big Chip Ten award which they took home from Manchester last month and November’s Lancashire Telegraph IT and Media company of the year award.
“It has been a very positive year for us,” added Kam. “We are rapidly growing in stature and others are taking note of us and the quality of our business.”
