Since the launch of Activ Web Design in March 2008, over 30 franchisees have been recruited to operate an exclusive area across the UK. The company has a target of 100 franchisees by 2009.

Simon explains: “We had a very high-profile launch for Activ Web Design and were inundated with enquiries within our first week, we knew the demand for a high-quality, affordable web design franchise was there but we cannot believe the response we have had."

“The number of enquiries hasn’t slowed either, we expected it to ease of slightly after the initial surge, but this hasn’t been the case, we are currently looking at expanding our recruitment team at head office to ensure we continue to professionally guide people through the process of becoming an Activ Web Design franchisee."

Ben Gardiner, who joined Activ Web Design recently and operates in the Hull area, adds: “From signing on the dotted line to attending the excellent training day, I have been very impressed with head office, they not only offer great training and support but seem to have a real knowledge of the internet and what small businesses want from a website, I would like to congratulate them on not only developing a fantastic franchise business but also on designing a fantastic range of tools that enable people like me, with no web design experience, to build really fantastic websites in no time at all.

An Activ Web Design franchise costs just £6995 + VAT and has the potential to earn £30,000 per year.

Simon explained: “This initial one-off payment gives franchisees full business ownership of the product and a section of the Activ Web Design website allowing them to market themselves as fully operational website designers in their area. As well as generating leads themselves in their area franchisees can be assured here at head office we are marketing the website to small businesses across the UK which, over time, will generate leads for franchisees across the UK."

There is no web design knowledge needed to operate an Activ Web Design franchise and all aspects of the software are covered on your introductory training day. All new franchisees receive a business pack containing everything you need to set up your franchise and operate it successfully but it doesn’t end there, Simon adds: “As well as our introductory training day we encourage franchisees to visit head office if and when they feel the need to build the websites in our environment, meaning they have experts on hand to assist should they need it, this gives franchisees the confidence to get out there selling to businesses knowing we are right behind them should they need us."

“The feedback we have had from our first 2 training days has been excellent with all attendees really impressed with how easy the software is to use, at the end of the training day everyone was leaving confident in the fact they could produce a high-quality website in no time at all. Credit for this has to go to our head web developer Paul who has written the Activ Web Design software from scratch and has created a tool that really is easy to use."
