Plenty Of Work For Aspray Franchisees
February 2, 2008
Rain or shine, there’s always plenty of work for Aspray franchisees (who are not all men)!
Aspray specialise in repairing damage to property caused by all types of problems from storms, fire and floods to theft, burst pipes and accidental damage – our franchisees find they have work all year round!
Aspray offer a free service to the general public, project managing building repairs from start to finish using local and qualified subcontractors. It aims to reduce the stress for people by offering a one-stop-shop for all their building repair work.
In a sector that is heavily dominated by men you may be surprised to hear we have women franchisees who are working very successfully. Still in the minority (out of the 27 franchises Aspray have 3 ladies) the female franchisees find their gender a bonus.
“A big part of the job is helping people in their hour of need. A number of people have commented on how pleased they were that it was a woman coming to view their property – perhaps they perceive women will be better listeners to their troubles!” said Natalie Rigby, Aspray Blackburn.
Most of the work are insurance claims giving high margins and guaranteed payments and because this type of damage is constant it really is a recession proof – and highly lucrative – business.
The ideal franchisee should have an interest for DIY but past experience is not necessary as full training is provided. They do need to be motivated, keen and prepared to work hard to generate a substantial income. With first-year turnovers of £350,000 and net profit in excess of £50,000 possible, future earnings can be substantial.
